The 2026 bZ arrives with major improvements compared to the 2025 bZ4X: increased range, an enhanced charging experience, and updated design and onboard technologies—all with the Toyota quality you know.
The 2026 bZ takes a significant step forward with an estimated range of up to 468 km (depending on the version). This means less "mental load": fewer charges during the week and more flexibility for detours, last-minute errands, or spontaneous weekend trips.
With the 2026 bZ, Toyota adds a battery preconditioning system. Specifically, the vehicle helps the battery reach an ideal temperature before a fast charge (especially in winter). The result: at the charging station, the battery is "ready," allowing for more efficient and faster charging with fewer performance variations.
The 2026 Toyota bZ can also expand your charging options thanks to compatibility with certain Tesla charging stations (NACS connector), depending on the station and location. The goal: more flexibility when you charge on the road.
